What charted is offered on: free, as it is, and with one limit that exists for a reason.
Short version: charted is a free personal project that publishes an opinion about what dynasty fantasy football players are worth. Use it for anything you like. It comes with no warranty, it is not financial advice, and access to the connected endpoint can be withdrawn from an account that abuses it.
What you are getting
A value model built from public sources, a league view built from Sleeper's public API, and a trade calculator that prices both against each other. It is offered free and as it is, with no promise that it will be available tomorrow, that a number is right, or that the site will keep working the way it does today.
The values are an opinion. They are one reading of what a market of fantasy managers appears to think, and the methodology page publishes the measured error against real trades rather than claiming there is none. Nothing here is advice about money, and a league that plays for money is between you and your league.
What it is not
- Affiliated with Sleeper, KeepTradeCut, FantasyCalc or FantasyPros
- Affiliated with the NFL or any team
- A gambling or betting service
- A paid product
Using the connected endpoint
Signing in and connecting an assistant gives that assistant tools that read your league and price trades. Two limits apply to it, and both are in the code rather than only on this page:
- One account, one person
- A daily ceiling per account, when one is configured
The ceiling exists because a single trade evaluation runs thousands of season simulations, so the cost of this site is compute rather than storage. Automated traffic that exists to consume that compute, rather than to answer a question somebody asked, will have its account's access removed. So will using charted to harass a league-mate: the notes feature records observations about real people, and it is there to make trades better, not to build a file on somebody.
Your data, and ending it
What is recorded and what is deliberately not is on the privacy page, which is the more useful document of the two. You can stop using charted at any time, and ask for your account and everything in it to be deleted. Access can also be withdrawn from this side, for the reasons above; if that happens the account stops working and the reason is available on request.
Third parties
League data comes from Sleeper and identity comes from Google, each under its own terms, which charted has no ability to change or waive. The site runs on Amazon Web Services. Values are derived from publicly published rankings, and each source keeps whatever rights it has in its own numbers.
